At Solar Analytics, we love solar energy, and we love that you love solar energy. We want to make sure Solar Analytics is helping you to save money and manage your energy better. With that in mind, we’ve redesigned the Dashboard and added some brand new features so that you:
Log in to the Dashboard now and take a look (go on, we’ll wait). We’ve now brought all of the most important information into the Dashboard, which is what you’ll see when you first log in to my.solaranalytics.com. For example, you told us that the biggest reason for you to log in was to see how much energy you’re using each day. You can now see how much energy you’re using (updated at 5 minute intervals) alongside how much you’re producing right at the top of your Dashboard, which makes it easy to ‘load shift’ where you can - basically, to time energy usage so that it coincides with your production, and doesn’t cost you anything.
We know that understanding your solar isn’t always easy, so we’ve introduced ‘My Solar Manager’. Wherever you see the face icon, you’ll find handy tips to step you through setting up your Dashboard and getting the most out of it.
If you scroll down your Dashboard, you’ll see we’ve highlighted all the most important information - Solar Savings, My Electricity Bill, My Energy Usage and System Performance - so you can see at a glance how your system is performing, how much solar you’re producing and using, and keep track of your electricity usage and costs. Click on each section to see more detailed information. We’ve also streamlined the left-hand navigation and updated some labels to make them a bit more “does what it says on the tin”.
You may have heard us mention Plan Optimiser before (we’re pretty proud of it!). It’s a handy tool that uses your actual solar and consumption data to compare available energy plans and automatically find the best one for you. Plan Optimiser:
Once you've added your Electricity Plan, we'll analyse your data and then - after three months - Plan Optimiser will be able to find the best energy plan for you.
Your feedback helps us improve your Solar Dashboard. You told us that savings are really important to you, but you also need a clear view of what to expect when you receive your next energy bill. My Electricity Bill allows you to see a breakdown of your electricity bill including electricity bought, fees and charges and solar feed-in credit, so you don’t get any nasty surprises when your bill arrives.
